Viral sharing is one of the most powerful traffic growth strategies. It involves creating content that is so valuable and share-worthy that people can't help but share it with their friends and followers.
And when done right, it can help you grow your traffic exponentially. A piece of content that goes viral gets shared tons of times by many people in a short time. That's how your content goes viral!
But how can you do it?
The first step is to create genuinely share-worthy content to get one million pageviews per month. This means creating something original, compelling, and interesting enough that people will want to share it with their friends.
You need to understand your audience and what type of content they would find valuable and share-worthy.
Another critical thing to keep in mind is that your content must be easily shared. This means adding social sharing buttons to your blog posts and making it easy for people to share your content on their favorite social media platform.
Strategy 2: Run Competitions and Giveaways
Everybody loves free stuff. And if you give away something valuable, people will be more than happy to share it with their friends and family. I call it ‘buzz growth‘ because it creates buzz around your brand and website.
It's a tried-and-true method that works like a charm. Just look at some of the biggest brands in the world. They all run competitions and giveaways to create buzz and grow their traffic.

This is a great strategy to use to grow your traffic from social media sites like Twitter and LinkedIn. Create something valuable and share it on social media with a call-to-action that encourages people to share it.

- Telegram Channels
- Reddit Subreddits
And the list goes on! Also, these communities bring in organic traffic as well. For example, many of my LinkedIn articles are ranking on Google.
And many posts on H-Educate Forums are ranking on the search engines like Google and Bing! I believe forums are probably the best and most direct way to help your audience and bring in traffic!
The key is to actively engage with your community members. Get them excited and engaged, and they will be more than happy to share your content with their friends.
Strategy 5: Repurpose and Syndicate Content

The key is to repurpose your content into different formats and syndicate it on different channels. For example, you can take a blog post and turn it into:
- Infographic
- Slideshow presentation
- Video tutorial
- Podcast episode

- Audio file (SoundCloud or Spotify)
- Reddit post
- Pinterest Pin
- Medium article
- Instagram post
And the list goes on! Once you have your content in different formats, you can syndicate it on different channels.
Strategy 6: Publish Long-Form Content Consistently
Long-form content has helped generate more traffic than shorter pieces of content in the internet world. One study showed that long-form content generates 77% more traffic than shorter pieces!
